Cozy atmosphere with charming decor and a unique Highland vibe. The Double Room with Private Bathroom had everything one could need, offering a comfortable retreat.
The shared bathroom, while adequate, isn't ensuite, which might annoy some. The heater in the bathroom gets extremely hot, creating a burning sensation if touched. Additionally, a slight odor permeates the building, hinting at its age, though it’s not overwhelmingly bothersome.

Whisky and Warm Hospitality
We had an amazing stay at Ceum Thairis! James, our host, shared interesting tales about the Highlands, and we loved the lively atmosphere. The view from the garden was breathtaking, and the Old Inn nearby had live music that we enjoyed immensely.
While the shared bathroom was well-maintained, it might not suit everyone’s preference.

the misleading directions to this so-called Bed & Breakfast nearly caused a meltdown. it's also absurd that there was no sheet for the bedding, making it feel unwashed. i expected a complimentary welcome gift, but clearly that’s too much to ask. i almost thought about giving a good review, but with all this, i just couldn’t.

Ceum Thairis is a charming spot with a cozy atmosphere and stunning mountain views. The Double Room with Private Bathroom provided great comfort and was clean throughout my stay. I really appreciated the common room where I could meet unique travelers and hear fascinating stories from James, the host. The surrounding area is perfect for exploring trails and enjoying walks away from the tourist hotspots. However, I found the shared bathroom situation a bit inconvenient, and I would have preferred easier access to the kitchen for meal prep. Despite these minor hiccups, the overall experience was delightful.
